Abstract
Environmental degradation in our local areas or slum areas increased day by day very frequently. India is an ancient country where environment is now deplete. Resources have been upon for a long time by a population that has reached over one billion living on a landmass of 20 lac kilometers which averages people per square kilometer. The great stress on the natural resources has contaminated the air, water and soil other resources are stretched and polluted. An Environment that is polluted and run down is ugly and people are not inspired to care for it. With the environment in this condition, particularly in the major industrial urban areas, people are more interested in high profile acute needs such as serve poverty and lack of basic necessities and facilities such as food, housing, transportation and health care. Environmental degradation has now reached to crisis proportions. Many failed to see how uncontrolled development was harming the environment and implication of the accelerating degradation of the natural world remained hidden.
