Abstract

Yes one has rightly said that health is wealth, it is true that good health is very important for living a happy life, healthy mind lives in a healthy body, a person who has good health also has good positive mind, hence positive thinking and a happy life. The best wealth of a man - Health is our best wealth. It is the source of all happiness. A man may possess much wealth. If his health is not good, he cannot be happy. He is always sad. He does not find peace of mind. Health means happiness. Health is one of the most precious possessions we have and we should learn to preserve it. The golden ingredients to preserve and maintain good health are food, exercise, work and recreation. Above all, the contribution of mental peace should not be ignored. This study reveals the innovative techniques of meditation techniques and importance of the same in the field of health and medicine, which helps the individuals to keep their physical and mental health fit. It also gives the scope to increase or widen up the knowledge in the field of medicine and various methods of meditations. It takes away the main causes and failures of unhealthy lifestyle, which affects the individuals’ health physically and mentally. It also enhances the efficiency of the person by increasing their potentials through self-realization and avoids the consumptions of drugs. Many people use drugs to increase their work output, which results in further deterioration of their health. Meditation increases the determination and will power, which is the prime essential factor in order to get rid from the alcohol and drug addiction. 9 Introduction … In present scenario, personnel are in state of confusion to follow which method of the meditation to improve the health awareness. There are many meditation techniques available in the society. Due to many techniques one could not concentrate on one and consistently changes the techniques and methods of meditation and loose hope because of unsuccessful results. Study underlines the urgent requirement of an amalgamation of health consciousness with the self-consciousness. This study is expected to pave the way for the further studies in the same discipline in due course of time in the interest of individual in particular and society in general.
