Abstract
Young people are an integral part of any movement. Youths contribute to its uniqueness and identity. As a movement, the capacity of young people can be as a transformational catalyst. They have demonstrated their ability by shouldering leadership responsibilities from the beginning of movement and work to bring about positive development. Various youth forums, deliberation and consultations have encouraged the continuity of the movement’s tradition to focus on youth involvement in the movement and commit to work with young people in the society. To bring about positive thinking in youth in order to realize their potential, there is a need to actively strengthen youth work as they have become directionless. Knowledge of positive thinking i.e. importance and strategies should be given to youth in order to sustain their overall development. “India with a large youth population has a unique demographic advantage in terms of man power availability for building the nation. The energy of youth and their enthusiasm should be guided into productive work”, said president Pratibha Devisingh Patil “Young people are the hidden assets that determine the future quality and value of the world.”
