Abstract
A dysfunctional family is a family in which conflict, misbehavior, and often abuse on the part of individual members occur continually and regularly, leading other members to accommodate such actions. A dysfunctional family is a family that doesn’t work very well or one that hurts the people in it. Families exist so that their members share with and nourish each other physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. In other words, family exist so that human beings can develop & thrive. However when the basics of life such as making a living or caring for children becomes in addictions, lies, addictions or emotional abuse the family system becomes dysfunctional. In such a dysfunctional family system family members are physically, mentally and emotionally abused. In such families Remedial actions have to be taken. By taking Remedial actions a dysfunctional family can become functional and peace and happiness can be restored in the family
