Abstract
Meditation is the process of getting to know myself completely both who I am “inside” and how i reacts what is ‘outside’. ‘Meditation’ can certainly be looked on a healing process. Both emotionally and mentally. The simplest definition of meditation is the right use of mind or positive thinking. In meditation I began to think about my true identity. My identity is a soul and all the other identities-teacher, student, man, woman, father, mother, friend, relation and so on- are simply different roles which I, the soul play. The body is simply my temporary physical costume. In other words we can say meditation, is the way to establish a mental love- link with ‘God’, ‘supreme soul’. It means the healing of the mind or take control of mind. It is to have the ability to think of what you want and when you want, without interference from other thoughts. Meditation is to develop the ability to concentrate on a particular subject without being attracted and influenced by the five senses, the five elements. ‘Yoga’ and ‘Viyoga’ are opposite terms. ’yoga’ means ‘union’ and ‘viyoga’ means separation. So, yoga is that spiritual science art or practice that enables the soul to get re-united with god or to reestablish a mental and spiritual link with him. The word yoga means stabilizing the mind in the consciousness of god or having a mental link with the god. It is the name giving to the turning of mind upwards or the consciousness of god as our most beloved father, teacher, preceptor and guide.
